| The Deer Park Water – Brent Kegley Memorial 5k run / walk is in honor of Brent Kegley, who was a Route Sales Representative for Deer Park Water in the Lorton, VA facility. On Monday, November 12, 2007, Brent Kegley, age 29, was in a fatal car accident involving a tractor trailer on his way to work. Among Brent’s favorite charities, Children Incorporated in Virginia will be a recipient of the proceeds. Furthermore and consistent with Deer Park’s dedication to the environment, we will also be raising money for Earth Share..Run Annapolis will be collecting entrant fees for the race. Net proceeds from the race will be donated and shared amongst the aforementioned charities. Our goal is to obtain at least 500 entrants which would generate an estimated $7,000 in net proceeds. In addition, individual donations can be made directly to the charities by clicking on the donation link below. Net proceeds earned from the race and all donations will be divided equally between Children Incorporated and Earth Share. |
