| Hi Everyone,
I am training for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon in October. I have had fun training with my dad and great friend, Katie Peralta. Before deciding to do the marathon, I wanted to pick an organization to represent- one whose mission I support and one that will motivate me to finish my run. My choice is Girls on the Run, a non-profit that encourages a healthy mind, body, and self-esteem among young girls. Specifically, I choose to raise money for the DC council, a group of girls that I worked with during my senior year at Georgetown and grew to love. Girls on the Run's DC council will especially benefit from my fundraising efforts, as many of the girls are minorities and come from low-income households. Please help me in raising $750 to benefit the girls of DC! |
