Thank you for visiting this website and for considering to support us in our endeavor to raise money for the kids in our community this year.

The seven Aussies participating, all work in the golf industry in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, will conduct the 5th Annual Birdies for Kids Fundraiser. The event will be played at Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas on August 18, 2008.

The fundraiser was started in 2004 as we simply wanted to say "thanks". We all feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work in the United States and wanted to do something to give back to our local community. Basically, in our own small way, we simply want to help make a difference.

All proceeds will benefit the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation's Golf in Schools Program. Through this not-for-profit program, each year thousands of elementary, middle and high school kids are introduced to the game of golf through the school’s physical education curriculum. In addition, the Children’s Medical Center will share the proceeds generated. The hospital is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18. The proceeds that will be donated to Children’s have been designated to purchase Giraffe Omnibeds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Each bed costs $50,000.00 and are designed specifically for the care of critically ill neonates.
