| Every hour of every day of the year, someone dies
of melanoma. It is the most common form of
cancer in the United States. More than 3.5 million
skin cancers in more than 2 million people are
diagnosed annually with approximately 5700
deaths in men and 3000 in women. Over the past
31 years, more people have had skin cancer than
all other cancers combined. Melanoma strikes
people of all ages, races, all economic levels and
both sexes. While melanoma is the most deadly
form of skin cancer, it is also highly preventable and treatable if caught early. Sadly, there is no cure for this aggressive disease.
We invite you to join us in our quest for a
melanoma cure by making a donation to the Bill
Walter III Melanoma Research Fund. You can make a difference. All donations are tax deductible and no amount is too small. Please accept our gratitude.
