Abby Ruston is striving to reach the 2012 London Olympic Games to represent our great nation in Shot Put - a dream she has been working toward since a very young age. Born and raised in San Antonio, Abby is moving out of state to Arizona to train with the best of the best. She is currently focusing on gaining sponsorship so she can focus solely on training, a feat that is vital in her ability to focus on her accomplishments and succeed at this level of competition.
We all know that dreams often cannot become reality without the help of others, especially when that dream is to represent our country in a sport that does not receive enough recognition and is especially difficult for female athletes to gain support.
