| The 4th Annual Semper Fi 5K |

| The 4th Annual Semper Fi 5K race/walk will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013 in Washington DC, with proceeds benefiting the Semper Fi Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides crucial medical and financial assistance to U.S. servicemen and women wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as to their families.
Although we would like to think that the government can provide everything for our injured heroes returning from war, the reality is that they need our private help. Many rely on the Semper Fi Fund in order to have family members nearby while they recuperate in the hospital, as well as to help them get back on their feet financially when they return home. Thus far, the Semper Fi Fund has provided nearly 53,000 grants totaling more than $70 million in assistance for our wounded warriors. |
