| Our daughter Becca was diagnosed with ALL in October of 2008, when she was just two years old. Her more than two-year treatment protocol was grueling, but Becca's strength and the support of so many wonderful people has brought us all through it. Though she finished chemotherapy treatments in December of 2010, was in remission, and her prognosis was great, she was just diagnosed with a new type of leukemia (AML) on April 3 of 2012. This continues to be a tremendous struggle for our entire family. By contributing to CancerFree Kids, you can help to further the research for treating and curing childhood cancer. More than 35 parents each day are told that their child has cancer, and we've been told that twice now. Our hope is that we can help to eventually move that number to zero! |
