| I, Jennifer Richardson was diagnosed with Lupus in December of 2011. I am a mother of 4 beautiful boys. My family and I live in West Deptford where we operate our family business. There are several people in the Gloucester County area that suffer from Lupus.My father and uncle also have the disease. It is increasing every year at a very fast pace. As of this year, there are about 10,000 people in South Jersey who have been diagnosed. I am also pleased to announce that I am now a certified support group leader for the cause with meetings starting May 11, 2012 at 7PM at the Verga United Methodist Church. This is for the South Jersey area.
I have now dedicated my time with the hope for a cure and to educate everyone about it. Those with Lupus have a motto; “I have Lupus but it does not have me.” I firmly believe if we stay focused and fight for what we believe in, that “Together We Can Be Lupus Strong" Life is short and taken for granted by so many. We are here to serve a purpose and to make a difference. |
