2011 Habitat for Humanity Bucket 100 Bicycle Tour
Racing to eliminate substandard housing
IU/Purdue Habitat for Humanity chapters are hosting the Bucket 100 bike tour October 15-16, 2011. This annual event helps to raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity in the West Lafayette and Bloomington communities. Riders of all experience/skill levels are encouraged to participate. The ride starts in West Lafayette on Saturday, stopping in Danville for Saturday evening. Riders will spend the night and then depart for Bloomington on Sunday morning, riding ~60 miles each day. Transportation (for riders and bikes) to West Lafayette is provided. Registration is only $30 and riders will be required to raise a minimum of $100 for Monroe County Habitat for Humanity. This year's ride also coincides with a build in West Lafayette and will depart from the worksite. Riders who are interested in riding only one of the two days are welcome to participate but must make their own travel arrangements to/from Danville.
