| Hi friends and family,
On December 29, 2008, my grandmother passed away from multiple myeloma cancer. She had been through a six year battle.
Throughout this time, she never lost her postive outlook, sense of humor, selflessness and genuine kindness toward others. Despite the excruciating pain she was in, she never complaining and always turned her focus toward others (especially her family).
In an effort to continue the amazing legacy she left, I will be running the New Mexico Marathon on September 6, 2009. If you are able to, please give a donation to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. It would mean so much to me and my family to be able to give this donation in her name. All of the money raised will go toward the research foundation in order to find a cure. All gifts are tax deductible. Thank you for your support and prayers. I will keep you updated on my progress. |
