Before they know it, our team members have reached their fundraising goals and are making a difference in the lives of myeloma patients.

The mission of the MMRF is to relentlessly pursue innovative means that accelerate the development of next-generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend the lives of people with multiple myeloma and lead to a cure. The MMRF is an innovative foundation that is breaking down barriers that have slowed research and drug development and is a pioneering organization that is ensuring the faster delivery of treatments to patients.
POWRFUL RESULTS
In just 10 years, the MMRF has raised more than $120 million, making it the world's leading private funder of myeloma-specific research, funded more than 120 research institutions, and developed a balanced "portfolio" of high-impact research to deliver better treatments to patients faster. The work of the MMRF contributed to the FDA approval of four drugs for multiple myeloma in just four years - a track record unparalleled in oncology. Introduction of these treatments has helped increased life expectancy in some patients from four years to nearly seven years and, because of their success in myeloma, these same drugs are now being explored as potential treatments for more than 20 other cancers and diseases.
