| 2008 AMBUCS Trek For Trykes Walk-a-thon |

| The AMBUCS Trek for Trykes is a one day walk-a-thon held in conjunction with the 2008 AMBUCS National Conference. This event will help raise funds to purchase AmTryke® therapeutic tricycles for individuals with disabilities in Northwest Arkansas. The goal is to raise $25,000! For years, the AmTryke therapeutic tricycles has benefited individuals who are unable to ride traditional bikes. This unique tricycle is hand and/or foot powered. It improves strength and motor coordination, increases self-esteem and is fun to ride! AMBUCS members work all year round to fund AmTrykes for people with disabilities in their local areas. There are currently dozens of individuals on the national AmTryke Wish List that are waiting for an AmTryke of their own. |
