Thank you for your support of the 2008 TREE Fund Tour des Trees. The Tour des Trees is the signature fundraising and public awareness event of the Tree Research and Education Foundation (TREE Fund) and is the largest event of its kind in the tree care industry. The Tour des Trees raises much needed funds for tree health care research. The unique focus on Urban Tree Research makes this relevant to everyone. In the United States, 80% of the population lives in urban centers. The research funded by the TREE Fund is used in maintaining mature urban trees and properly caring for those recently planted which significantly improves the quality of the air, encourages wild life, reduces energy consumption and improves the quality of life.
