| Courage for Corey |

| In Feb. 2007, 2-1/2 year old Corey was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma, a very aggressive cancer affecting only about 600 children in the US per year. The survival rate for this disease is one of the lowest of all childhood cancers. Corey has spent the last year undergoing multiple treatments, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, bone marrow transplant, etc. Corey completed his last round of chemo just two weeks ago. It has recently been determined that he is “No Evidence of Disease” or NED. Because of the high rate of recurrence and low survival rate, no child is ever in remission from Neuroblastoma. NED is the best that we can get. So, we are here today in honor of Corey and his long fight, and to raise money so that other children can be more easily cured of this monster disease! |
