| Team "Climbing for Jordan" was formed in 2005, after Jordan was diagnosed with Leukemia and had already undergone several months of treatments. His family participated in the "Big Climb" that first year in order to DO something to eliminate Leukemia. Each year "Climbing for Jordan" has grown in size and awareness. Participants include family, friends, doctors, nurses, neighbors, and others who have heard of Jordan's courage and want to be a part of the solution!
On March 18th our team will be climbing 69 flights of stairs in the Columbia Tower in downtown Seattle. Some of us will run up those stairs & others will climb VERY slowly but we will all make it. Just like Jordan has!!!
Leukemia is a cancer of the body's blood-forming organs. It is the leading disease killer of children. Thanks to money raised for research, survival rates in both adults and children with Leukemia have DRAMATICALLY improved.
