| Salem Fire Fundraising Page for The Scott Firefighter Stairclimb |
|
| This is the third consecutive year Salem fire has put together a team to participate in the firefighterStairclimb. Each year we have had an increase in interest and an increase in money raised for this cause. This year we hope to continue with our past success! We want toThank you for your generous support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To donate funds on behalf of the Salem firefighters, select an amount that suites you. Your support brings us one step closer to our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. |

About the Event
At 788 feet of vertical elevation, the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle stands as the second tallest building west of the Mississippi. It takes 69 flights of stairs and 1,311 steps to reach the highly acclaimed observation deck overlooking the city. On Sunday, March 2nd, firefighters will race up the stairs in full fire gear and SCBA to help raise funds and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This year we expect over 1,400 firefighters from 180 departments to compete in the event, once again making the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb the largest single firefighting competition in the world.
