The 40th floor bottle change - the second time around! (2007) |
|
|
| This will be my fifth year participating in the Firefighters StairClimb and raising money for a great cause.
For the past two years you have donated generously so that I would make the climb twice. I'm offering you the same challenge this year ... If at least 40 individuals make a donation of $100 or more to my fundraising effort, I will climb the stairs twice again in 2008. Look at it like this - you are helping The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or paying for my misery - or both!
No matter the amount of your donation, I truly appreciate it and you can know that all of your support is what helps me get to the top. THANKS! |

| Thank you for your generous support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Your support brings us one step closer to our mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
About the Event
At 788 feet of vertical elevation, the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle stands as the second tallest building west of the Mississippi. It takes 69 flights of stairs and 1,311 steps to reach the highly acclaimed observation deck overlooking the city. On Sunday, March 2nd, firefighters will race up the stairs in full fire gear and SCBA to help raise funds and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This year we expect over 1,400 firefighters from 180 departments to compete in the event, once again making the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb the largest single firefighting competition in the world.
