As you may know, I am mentoring a teen from Brooklyn through a program called Stoked.

Stoked Mentoring is a non profit action sports organization for at risk youth with the mission of developing Successful Teens with Opportunity, Knowledge, Experience, and Determination through the use of action sports, mentoring and coaching.

This summer we surfed at Rockaway Beach, this winter we'll snowboard in the Catskills and next spring we'll be skateboarding in NYC.

Turns out, in addition to mentoring a teen and having some fun, I am learning a lot myself.

But like my time leading a Cub Scout Pack there's more than fun on my mind.

Big picture, I hope that I am able to make a positive impact on this young man and help him to navigate the sometimes difficult teen years.

Please help me raise funds for this worthy organization to help cover the extensive equipment, travel and admin expenses.

I've seen this program in action and can assure you that your donations will be used effectively and efficiently.
