About This Activity

A distance race consisting of two legs — an opening 10-kilometer leg, followed by a five-kilometer leg, with a break in between — the Double is the brainchild of running visionary and innovator Bob Anderson, founder of Runner’s World magazine, which he published for 18 years, and an avid runner. Run the 10K at 7:45 AM and the 5K at 9:30 AM.

Awards: Overall, age-group, and kids awards. Prize Money: $4,000 of prize money. Plus $1000 Bonus Money For World Records Double Entry fee covers: Official Race T-shirt, Special Tote Bag, entry into the Recovery Zone, a medal for all finishers, special Double two-sided medals to the top five in each age-group, four-color race program, and the opportunity to win some of the prize money for overall and age-group winners. Medals and T-Shirts. Join us for the first Double Road Race to be held in Denver. Race participants will run two road races (10k + 5k) on the same day. The Double is a unique event created by Bob Anderson, the founder of Runner’s World Magazine. Denver Double Sponsors and partners are being confirmed.
