Instructor: Nancy Blair Prerequisite: Metals I Class Limit: 10 Class Duration: 16 Hours In this jam-packed two-day workshop, students will have the opportunity to explore the many wonderful ways to make and use layered texture to enhance your unique jewelry designs. Every fusing is a one of a kind opportunity to create something truly your own! For many years, Nancy has been fusing pieces of Sterling silver to use in her successful jewelry line. Day 1: Students will spend a good bit of the first day learning and creating special textured panels to be used in future earrings, pendants or rings. Day 2: Students will be creating rings out of their fused Sterling panels. Students should be able to make several fused texture panels and two rings, depending on student skill level and what student is interested in creating. Come and learn how you can use fused Sterling silver to take your jewelry making skills to the next level for totally unique texture plates that make your jewelry stand out!

The Denver School of Metal Arts is a dynamic jewelry making school that specializes in year round classes, workshops and summer intensive courses for jewelers and metalsmiths. Our classes are taught by experienced jewelry artists and teachers, who provide a stimulating environment in which our students are able to explore their design potential and hone their technical skills.
