What's Included

Take our advice and stay cool this summer while you discover Bluff Lake’s cold-blooded animals! How do butterflies get relief from the heat? Why do lizards bask in the sun? Uncover these answers and more, and enjoy a live animal visit from Nature’s Educators! Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm. The fee is $140 per week for BLNC members and $160 per week for non-members. Register for multiple children/multiple weeks and receive a $15 discount for each additional child/week.

About This Organizer

Bluff Lake Nature Center is a nonprofit agency that owns and manages a unique urban wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom in northeast Denver. The refuge is home to an abundance of animals and native plants, which thrive in a variety of habitats.

Each year, nearly 5,000 area elementary students visit Bluff Lake as part of one of our formal education programs. Thousands of additional visitors come to Bluff Lake to enjoy a few moments of solace and connection to nature.
