READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE REGISTERING! <<< This hybrid course is designed to teach the skills of Heartsaver® CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of all ages. Heartsaver® First Aid is an optional module, either by itself or combined with CPR. Upon successful completion the student will receive a provider eCard from the American Heart Association (AHA) valid for 2 years. Note: This course is for new and renewal Heartsaver providers. PART 1 (online, must be completed before Part 2) 1. Visit www.onlineaha.org. a) Select Heartsaver from the Courses menu. b) Select desired module. c) Login or Register (first time user). 2. Purchase and complete online course. 3. Print certificate of completion. Note that the course you choose is the eCard you will receive. PART 2 (skills practice & testing) 1. Complete Part 1 and print the certificate of completion. 2. Register for Part 2 by clicking "Add to Cart" and completing Purchase. 3. On session day, bring your certificate of completion from Part 1. Note the specific class start time; it is suggested that you arrive around 15 minutes early. Class starts promptly at the given time and late students will not be allowed in once class has started. No book is required.
