Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon

The Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon is a destination event held on Labor Day weekend. The course is USATF certified at 13.1 miles. Entry fees for half marathon are $95 until July 20 and $105 after (if available). Entry fees for team are $85 until July 20 and $95 after (if available). Entry fees for2-person relay are $150 until July 20 and $180 after (if available). Each entry includes artfully designed moisture-wicking event running shirt (men's and women's sizes), finisher's medal, logo wine glass good for entry to wine tasting from local vintners, etc. The race is chip timed to provide accurate and fair results. Runners will receive a chip and gun time in the results. Awards are presented to top 3 m&f finishers in each 5-year age category beginning with 20 and under up to 70 and over. Top 3 overall male & female will get cash: 1st place will get $500 plus large format bottle of wine and "Winers" Decanter Trophy, 2nd place will get $300 plus magnum of wine, and 3rd place will get $200 plus magnum of wine. First place male & female finishers in the masters division (must be 40 years or greater on race day) will be awarded a "Winer's" Decanter Trophy and magnum of wine. Wine is awarded to top 3 male and female finishers in age division every 5 years from 21 to 70 age groups. Awards are determined by the runner's age on race day. Certificates are provided for the under 21 age group. Top finishers in 2-Person Relay are awarded in the following categories: M/M team, F/F team, and Co-ed. The fastest team (after application of age/gender handicap) of 6 or more members will receive awards. A team must have a minimum of 5 runners finish the half marathon to qualify as a team; see team registration for details. A magnum or case of wine and private tasting tour for up to 12 is awarded to the winning team. 2nd place receives a magnum of wine.
