Brief Description

The Highland Rim Bicycle Club hosts this annual bicycling event.

You'll cycle through some of the most beautiful country Tennessee has to offer and finish up with a fantastic bratwurst meal.

The new routes introduced in 2012 are ready for you again this year.

You really don't want to miss this cycling event so mark your calendars for Saturday, September 7, 2012.

Amenities

• Well stocked food stops at approximate 15 mi – 18 mi intervals
• Sweep vehicles
• Cue sheets and directional arrows at major turns
• Restrooms facilities at each food stop
• Showering facilities provided at Motlow State Community College
• Post-ride bratwurst, soft drinks, and other refreshments

Throughout the day hundreds of pictures will be taken of the event. After the event you can visit the Highland Rim Bicycle Club website "http://www.hrbike.org/photos/ElkRiverValley100/" after the event and view all the pictures again at your leisure.

T-Shirt & Mug

Pre-register and pay before August 24 to guarantee yourself a very handsome event t-shirt and commemorative mug. Additional T-shirts and mugs may be available at the event on a first-come, first served basis.

Please note, you must be present to pick up your t-shirt and mug. They will not be shipped.

Special Interest

As a special feature all routes, with the exception of the 100 mi and 10 mi, visit the historic town of Lynchburg, TN. Lynchburg is a picturesque little town home to Jack Daniels Distillery, the oldest registered distillery in the US.

Rain or Shine

This ride will take place on the day listed above, rain or shine. No refunds or discounts will be given in the event of bad weather.

All riders will be required to wear helmets!
