Official Rules

1. CONTEST: The "2009 Tour Trivia Contest" ("Contest") begins at 12:01 am Eastern Standard Time (EST) July 4, 2009 and ends at 11:59 pm EST, July 27, 2009 ("Contest Period"). A total of One Hundred (100) Contest prizes (hereinafter referred to as "Prize" individually or "Prizes" collectively) will be awarded including One (1) Grand Prize; One (1) First Place Prize; Two (2) Second Place Prizes; One (1) Third Place Prize; Three (3) Fourth Place Prizes; and Ninety-Two (92) Daily Prizes. Void where prohibited by law. This Contest is managed and administered by The Active Network, Inc. ("Administrator").

2. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty United States and Washington, D.C. who are at least 21 years of age or older at time of entry, except any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors and interns) who have, within the past six months from the start of the Contest, held employment with or performed services for The Active Network, Inc., 10182 Telesis Court, San Diego, CA 92121; Trek Travel, Inc., 613 Williamson St. #207 Madison, WI 53703; LOOK Cycle USA, 6300 San Ignacio Avenue, Ste G, San Jose, CA 95119; Pearl Izumi, 1886 Prairie Way, Louisville, CO 80027; Team Slipstream, 2043 16th Street Boulder, CO 80302; Rudy Project USA, 3300 East 17th Ave, Denver, CO 80206; Camelbak, Inc., 2000.S.McDowell Blvd. Ste 200, Petaluma, CA 94954; Road ID, Inc., 516 Enterprise Dr, Erlanger, KY 41017; or Clif Bar & Company, 1610 Fifth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710; and all other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Contest, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliate and successor companies ("Contest Entities"), and immediate family members or members of the same households (parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, whether related or not) of such persons at any time during the Contest.

3. HOW TO ENTER: There is one way to enter the Contest during the Contest Period: visit http://www.active.com/cycling/tourdefrance/ (the "2009 Tour Site") and sign up to receive The Daily Tour Update e-newsletters. Beginning July 4, subscribers will be emailed The Daily Tour Update e-newsletter with a link to the Contest. Contestants who correctly answer a daily Contest question will be entered into the Contest. Only contestants who answer correctly will be eligible for the daily Prize drawing. Contest registrants are eligible to enter each day during the Contest Period. All entries become the property of Administrator and will not be returned or acknowledged. A total of One Hundred (100) random drawings (each, a "Drawing") will be conducted during the Contest Period. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the Entry Deadline below. Limit one (1) entry per person, per day during the Contest Period. No purchase is necessary.

Entry Deadline and Drawing Date:
The deadline for daily Contest entries is 11:59 p.m. PST of each day during the Contest Period.
Drawing Dates: Daily and July 30, 2009

4. WINNER SELECTION/NOTIFICATION: One Hundred (100) Prize Drawings will be conducted from among all eligible entries in accordance with the stated Entry Deadline under the supervision of Administrator. Ninety-Two (92) of the One Hundred (100) will be drawn as part of the daily Prize drawings, four (4) winners per day for Twenty-three (23) days during the 2009 Tour de France. The remaining prizes, Grand through Fourth Place Prizes, will be drawn at random from all eligible entries after the Contest is complete. All Prize awards are subject to verification of eligibility by Administrator. All potential Prize winners will be contacted via phone and/or email within fourteen (14) business days following the Drawing. Limit one (1) daily Prize per person per household. Administrator's decisions with respect to Prize winners and other matters pertaining to the Contest shall be final.

Grand, First, Second, Third and Fourth Place Prize winners will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted), within five (5) days of receipt of Prize notification. If a potential winner is unable to be contacted or if a winner fails to complete and return all requested forms by the specified date or if a winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, his/her prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner shall be selected. By entering into the Contest, all entrants consent to the use of their name, photograph, likeness, biography, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online and on-air announcements, worldwide and without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. The odds of winning a Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received. All Prizes will be awarded.

5. PRIZES / ODDS:

Grand Prize Package (1):

One (1) Grand Prize Winner shall win one (1) Trek Travel trip for 2 people to California wine country. Details will be provided by Trek Travel. Airfare not included. Approximate retail value $2,895 per person.

Total Grand Prize approximate retail value (ARV) $5,790.

First Prize (1):

One (1) First Place Prize Winner shall win one (1) LOOK 595 bicycle frameset. Approximate retail value, $3,999.

Total First Place Prize approximate retail value (ARV): $3,999.

Second Place Prizes (2):

Two (2) Second Place Prize Winners shall each win one (1) Garmin Slipstream Team apparel package that includes one short sleeve jersey; one bib shorts; one pair cycling socks; one cycling cap; two water bottles; one t-shirt, one podium hat; two glasses; one wine opener; two sticker sheets; one VIP ticket to the 2010 Garmin-Slipstream team presentation (approximate retail value: $990 each)

Total Second Place Prizes approximate retail value (ARV): $1,980.

Third Place Prize (1)

One (1) Third Place Prize Winner shall win one bib short and one jersey from Pearl Izumi (approximate retail value: $500.)

Total Third Place Prize approximate retail value (ARV): $500.

Fourth Place Prizes (3)

Three (3) Fourth Place Prize Winners shall each win one limited edition Team Garmin-Slipstream belt buckle (approximate retail value: $180.)

Total Fourth Place Prize approximate retail value (ARV): $540.

Daily Contest Prize Packages (23) (1 winner drawn daily during the Contest Period):

One (1) daily Contest Prize Winner shall be drawn on each day during the Contest, and each shall win (a) one Rudy Project Noise sunglass (approximate retail value: $100); (b) one Camelbak water bottle (approximate retail value: $8); (c) one selection of Clif nutritional products (approximate retail value: $14); d) one gift card for the purchase of a Road ID personal identification product (approximate retail value: $21.50).

Total Daily Tour Trivia Contest Prizes approximate retail value (ARV): $3,439.

Total Cumulative Prize ARV: $16,248.

All elements and details of the Prize Packages shall be selected by Administrator at its sole discretion. All elements of the Grand Prize Package will be selected by Administrator at its sole discretion and delivered directly. WINNER AGREES TO ACCEPT THE GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE "AS IS," AND ADMINISTRATOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TRAVEL COSTS SHALL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER, AS WILL ALL CURRENT AND FUTURE TAXES, COSTS, FEES, INSURANCE AND EXPENSES RELATING TO THE GRAND PRIZE. Administrator shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or for any act or omission whatsoever by the various providers of Trek Travel, Inc., LOOK Cycle USA, Pearl Izumi, Team Slipstream, Rudy Project USA, Camelbak, Inc., Road ID, Inc. or Clif Bar & Company or delivery of any other components of the Grand Prize Package. All travel/accommodations are subject to availability and/or change, and restrictions/blackout dates may apply.

Winners will be responsible for all taxes (federal, state, local and/or income) and all expenses not listed related to acceptance and use of prize. Prizes will be awarded in the name of the winner and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash; however, Administrator reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value due to unavailability.

Winners are solely responsible for all expenses not specifically set forth herein, including but not limited to meals, personal ground transportation, hotel charges (other than room and room tax), gratuities, tips, taxes and incidentals. Prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, changed, or redeemed for cash except at the sole discretion of the Administrator. Winners will be issued 1099 forms for the actual ARV of the prizes at the time of fulfillment. Other restrictions may apply.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering, entrants warrant and represent that they agree to be bound by these Official Rules (including all eligibility requirements) and the decisions of the Administrator, Administrator and appointed agents, which shall be final and binding in all respects. By entering, winners agree to release, discharge and hold harmless any and all claims against the Administrator and all Contest Entities, from and against all liability for any injury, including but not limited to personal injury, bodily injury (including without limitation wrongful death or disability), property damage, or loss or damage of any other kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from delivery, non-delivery, acceptance, possession, use of a prize, or from participation in this Contest, or any Contest-related activity, whether or not such injury, loss or damage arises in whole or in part from the negligence of the Administrator or Contest Entities, their affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, and any and all Internet servers and access providers, and grant to Administrator the right to publicize such winner's name and/or likeness without additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law, and agree that none of the Contest Entities shall be responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest related materials; stolen, late, lost, garbled, delayed, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, postage due or illegible entries, or incorrect, inaccurate transcription or loss of entry information for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Contest; inability to access the Tour Site, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site.

Proof of online submission is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. If, in the exclusive judgment of the Administrator, this promotion becomes compromised in any way, Administrator reserves the right to withdraw the Contest offer, cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently or select winners from all eligible entries received prior to act that compromised the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Administrator or its agents. In the event of dispute, electronic entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address. Administrator reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of winners and to disqualify any individual they find acting in violation of the Official Rules. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the last day of the Contest Period, notice will be posted on the Tour Site and winners will be chosen from eligible entries received as of the date of termination under procedures adopted by Administrator in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage the Tour Site or any other site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Administrator reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
