Contador Celebrates Second Tour Victory
Alberto Contador won his second Tour de France, proving his prowess on the mountains and in the time trial en route to a victory of over four minutes over Andy Schleck. Lance Armstrong returned to the podium in third. Mark Cavendish won his sixth stage of the 2009 Tour on the Champs-Élysées. More »

The 2009 Tour de France featured another spectacular run by the Argyle Armada, which had all nine starters finish in Paris. In the overall standings, Bradley Wiggins placed a hard-earned fourth and Christian Vande Velde finished eighth. Tyler Farrar placed in the top three of a stage four times.
