Brief Description

Enduro Stage racing is the newest style of Mountain Bike racing. It combines the fitness of cross country and the bike skills of downhill! It is simply one of the funnest types of racing you can do! Anyone on any bike can be competitive in Enduro. There are categories for everyone!

Enduro Stage Racing

Enduro Stage racing is a cross between cross country and downhill. It is a great mix of the two and combines skills and fitness. The races last no more than 10 minutes and the skill level is geared towards the average riders. Both beginners and top professionals will be challenged, and have tons of fun!

Race Format

The Enduro stage race consists of 3 races on one day. You must pedal to the start of each race and be ready to race at the given start time. Racers are grouped in categories by ability. Racers are timed only on the downhill portion of the courses, not on the uphills. Racers are started individually with 30 second intervals.

Formating

All three races will be timed and each racer will carry the time forward to the next race. At the end of the day the total time will be accumulated and the winners in each category will be announced.
