Brief Description

Stow Bike for the Woods is a fundraiser for the Stow Conservation Trust (SCT) which preserves open space in this beautiful town. It offers rides on the roads of Stow and surrounding towns, in lengths ranging from 2 to 64 miles. Most rides are marked on the road and all include cue sheets. The shorter rides tend to be easier and the longer ones more challenging. Free food and drink are available before and after the ride, as well as at the now famous self-serve mid point lemonade stand.

Directions

From the West. Take Route 117 East from Route 495 (Exit 27) for 4.8 miles. Make a left at the traffic light and an immediate right. From the East. Take Route 117 West from Waltham (Exit 26 off 128 to Route 20 East, follow signs for 117) 14.7 miles and turn right just before the traffic light in the town Center.

Additional Information

This is the 11th annual Bike for the Woods! This year we offer you incentive to register ahead of time, with lower fees than if you sign up at the event. Small fee ($1.63) charged for online registration. Come on out and support land conservation in Stow!
