Brief Description

Help to end hunger in our All-American City, Stockton! Join us for our 3rd Annual Mayor's Hike and Bike event benefiting the nutrition programs of Catholic Charities and the Emergency Food Bank. Hikers/walkers have a scenic 4.3 mile route to the Stockton Ports Baseball Park, while bicyclists have three choices of routes. New this year is a Kid's Bike Rodeo, for young cyclists ages 1-9. Registrants will be treated to a delicious BBQ lunch upon their return.

Mayors’ Hike and Bike Timeline: Starts and finishes at the University of the Pacific, DeRosa University Center. 7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Registration, pledge turn-in 8:30 a.m. Walk/Ride begins 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Kid's Bike Rodeo (Ages: 1-9) 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Barbecue 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. “Get Fit Stockton” Health Fair Raise pledges and earn fabulous prizes! Participants who raise a minimum of $40 will receive an official event t-shirt; raise additional pledges for even more fabulous prizes. Prize Levels: $30 - Entry Fee (Postmarked by May 18th) $35 - Entry Fee (After May 18th) $40 - Entry Fee (Day of the Event) $10 - Kid's (Ages: 1 to 9; if postmarked by May 18th) $15 - Kid's (Ages: 1 to 9; After May 18th) $20 - Kid's (Ages: 1 to 9; Day of the Event) $40 - Minimum in pledges to receive event t-shirt $100 - $10 gift certificate at select stores $200 - $20 gift certificate at select stores $350 - $35 gift certificate at select stores $500 - $50 gift certificate at select stores $750 - $75 gift certificate at select stores $1,000 - $100 gift certificate at select stores Top pledge raiser over $1,000 will be listed in the 2012 Hike and Bike website and brochure. Fundraisers who raise a minimum of $500 in pledges will have VIP only seating at Mayor Ann Johnston's table for barbecue lunch upon their return from the Hike and Bike.
