Come ride with the Springfield Bicycle Club on the 38th annual Capital City Century, on the Sunday after Labor Day. Riders can choose among well-marked routes from 10 to 100 miles over flat to slightly rolling terrain. This annual recreational ride offers a great biking experience for all riders, new or experienced. The CCC features organized food stops, SAG service, and a post-ride party at the Beach House on Lake Springfield. A special certificate will be presented to those riding their first century. Riders should consider coming a day early (Saturday, September 11) for a free 12-mile ride featuring many Lincoln-related historic sites in Springfield.
