Brief Description

Enjoy three, two or one days of cycling in the gently rolling hills of Highlands County, excellent buffet lunch meals by Chef Mac, Ice Cream Socials, Door Prizes, etc. Riders will especially appreciate our low traffic roads, friendly motorists, citrus groves, cattle ranches, and small towns typical of rural Central Florida. Daily rides ranging from 11 to 62 miles plus our Highlands County Century (100 miles) on Saturday.

Additional Information

A massage therapist will be available after the rides for a nominal fee. Meals: Registrants will enjoy a daily continental breakfast and a deluxe buffet lunch that includes salad, carving, and desert stations as well as a buffet line. For example main entrees on Saturday include: grilled salmon with a lemon butter caper sauce, carved herb crusted pork loin, chicken cacciatore, pasta and Italian mixed vegetables.

DAILY SCHEDULE Thursday, Dec 6 6:00-8:00 pm - Registration & packet pick-up 8:15 pm - Welcome & Orientation (optional) Friday, Dec 7 6:45-8:30 am - Registration & packet pick-up 8:00 am - 53 mile ride 8:15 am - 36, 20 and 10 mile rides 12:00 am - 2:30 pm - Buffet Lunch Afternoon - Relax at the lodge, swim in the pool, shop on the Circle (see “Other Things To Do”) 7:00-9:00 pm - Registration and packet pick-up Saturday, Dec 8 Wear Your Club Jersey Day 6:45-8:00 am - Registration & packet pick-up 7:30 am – 100 mile Highlands County Century ride 8:00 am – 62 mile ride 8:15 am - 38, 20 and 10 mile rides 12:00 am - 3:30 pm - Buffet Lunch Afternoon - Relax at the lodge, swim in the pool, shop at the Circle, or shopping centers around Sebring, tour Highlands Hammock state park or enjoy other local activities.
