Brief Description

A classic cycling experience in the Southeast's most historic city! Our "main attraction" is THE BRIDGE RIDE on Sunday Morning, leaving from "The Distillery" restaurant. There are five ride options for the Sunday ride: 25, 37, 56, 69 and 103 miles. The HENDRIX PARK RIDE is a 31 mile loop starting and finishing in Black Creek, Georgia. The Big Bridge Package

You can sign up for all three rides at a discounted price. $60 will register you for all three rides; BRIDGE RIDE, HENDRIX PARK RIDE - plus the MIDNIGHT RIDE benefitting Savannah Bicycle Campaign. A Post-ride meal following the BRIDGE RIDE is included in the price.

MIDNIGHT RIDE - benefit & party

The MIDNIGHT RIDE is offered in cooperation with "Savannah Bicycle Campaign". This is a benefit ride and party on Saturday evening! (6 or 12 mile options) Savannah Bicycle Campaign is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cycling and advocate for the rights of cyclists. You can add this ride when you register for the HENDRIX PARK RIDE or The BRIDGE RIDE. Alternatively you can select "The Big Bridge Package" and do all three for a discounted price!

HENDRIX PARK RIDE

The Saturday Morning ride starts and finishes at Hendrix Park. Transportation to Hendrix park from Savannah is not provided so lash your bike on your rack and take the short drive to the country for a scenic cycling ride through rural Georgia.

Directions to HENDRIX PARK RIDE start

The HENDRIX PARK RIDE start (directions from Savannah): Take I-16 west to Exit #143 (24 miles from Sunday's ride start at Savannah Station). Turn left off the ramp onto Hwy 280 South and go 2.2 miles. Turn right on Wilma Edwards Rd. Go 1.5 miles to Hendrix Park on the left. (For you GPS folks, the ride start is at: N32 10.138 W81 30.818)

Additional Information

We have coordinated with the "Savannah Bicycle Campaign" to offer preregistration for their benefit nighttime fun-ride on Saturday evening! Savannah Bicycle Campaign is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cycling and advocate for the rights of cyclists. You can select to participate in this nighttime charity ride at a discounted price - only for our Savannah Century participants. Do all three rides and make it a great weekend of cycling. This ride is perfect for both serious cyclists and their family members since the pace is leisurely. There is police moto escort for the entire route.
