Brief Description
An experience not to miss - a tour of all the Santa Barbara area has to offer - and one of the most difficult bike rides in the country with 9600 feet of climb in 100 miles. The metric century ride (3800 feet of climb in 62 miles) shares much of the route of the Century but foregoes the climb up Gibraltar Road (known by locals as the Santa Barbara 'Alpe d'Huez').
