Brief Description

San Francisco Night & Day is a race that brings you to nooks and crannies of the city you’ve never seen before. Sixty point-valued checkpoints are placed throughout San Francisco . Visit checkpoints in any order you choose for 3, 7, or 16 hours. Teams returning with the most points are the winners! Biking, running, or walking -- or all three in our duathlon division -- everyone experiences their own unique tour of San Francisco.

Online registration closes Thursday, May 31, midnight PDT.

Separate registration required for each team member. Preregistration is encouraged, however day-of-event registration is available for $10-15 extra.

Start for all participants is Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Teams of 2 to 5 required for 16 hour race; solo participation allowed for 7 and 3 hour races. Prizes offered in various age divisions.

Night & Day started in 2003 as a foot race based in Seattle's Central District. In 2004 we continued in Seattle and added a bike division. In 2005 we expanded to San Francisco and also offered a duathlon division. The 2011 event will repeat the same great format with 60 brand new checkpoints.
