Description
The Cache Valley Century Bicycle Tour is a noncompetative bicycle tour of Cache Valley in Northern Utah and Southern Idaho. It is hosted by the Cache Valley Veloists Bicycle Touring Club. The tour starts at the park in Richmond Utah.
There are three route options:
CENTURY - this route is just over 100 miles and passes through the Idaho towns of Franklin and Weston before heading south back into Utah to tour the southern end of Cache Valley. There are five rest stops on this route with the option of lunch at 70 miles in Mendon or at the end of the ride.
METRIC CENTURY - This route is just over 60 miles and follows the century route through Idaho and back into Utah but after the second rest stop this route heads back to Richmond for lunch. There are three rest stop on this route.
40 MILE option. This route is just under 40 miles. It follows the century route to Franklin and Weston but then cuts off at Trentono to make an easy loop back to Richmond. There are three rest stops and lunch at the finish in Richmond. There is a rest stop every 10 miles on this route.
T-Shirts are included at no additional charge for those that register by August 11th. T-shirts are not available for those that register after August 11th.
Jerseys - Cache Valley Century jerseys are available at an additional cost of $40 each. They are top quality LG jerseys. There is a limited quantity of jerseys available and they can only be purchased during online registration.
Registration is LIMITED TO 1000 RIDERS. Please register early. Day before and day of registration will only be available if there is space left.
REGISTRATION INCREASES TO $50 THE DAY BEFORE AND DAY OF THE RIDE. Register early and save.
The majority of proceeds will be donated to Common Ground Outdoor Adventures, promoting full inclusion in outdoor recreation for persons with disabilities.
Event schedule and times
Optional Friday Evening Registration/Check in: Aug 24th from 5-8 p.m. at Common Ground Outdoor Adventures, 335 North 100 East in Logan.
Saturday Registration/Check in: Between 7 and 8:30 am at the park in Richmond.
Common Grounds Adapative Cycling team starts at 7:45.
Open start 8:00 am.
Lunch will be served in Richmond and Mendon between 11:30 and 3:30.
