Brief Description

Cyclefest is back! This year The Bike Lane is hosting Cyclefest at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston, VA on National Trails Day! We will be celebrating our trails, riding our bikes, and getting people excited about bicycling! Cyclefest will have plenty of educational seminars, riding clinics, and an expo showcasing the latest in gear and bike technology! Local clubs and riding organizations will be promoting themselves as well.

Rain or Shine

This is a rain or shine event. If it is raining the scheduled rides will be canceled or modified. However, the seminars, expo area, and other activites will continue.

No Refunds

There are no refunds for this event. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Fairfax County Park Authority to use towards the Lake Fairfax Trail Rehabilitation Project.

Supported Rides

All of the Cyclefest scheduled rides will be supported. Riders MUST wear a helmet and have a safe well-functioning bike and bring proper tools for minor trail side repairs. There will be volunteers on each ride to help support riders. Food and water will be provided before and after each of the rides, with one pit stop for the road rides. Cue sheets will be given out for the road rides. The mountain bike rides will have a ride leader and ride sweeper on each ride.
