Welcome to Pedal and Play in Paradise 2011! Join us in historic Punta Gorda for five great bicycle rides; rest stops for 62, 30, and 15-mile rides; breakfast and full lunch provided by Jack's Restaurant; FREE beer; FREE Pedal and Play T-shirts for registrations received on or before March 9; FREE colorful Pedal and Play towels to the first 200 registrants; and FREE entry into the Peace River National Arts Festival—all for only $30, $35 day of event.

Directions

From I-75 take exit 164 West (Rt 17) to Nesbit St. Turn right into Laishley Park. From 41 North, cross Gilchrist Bridge to Punta Gorda, 2nd light turn left on Olympia St., follow to Nesbit St, turn left and follow to Laishley Park. From 41 SOUTH, turn right on Olympia St., follow to Nesbit St, turn left and follow to Laishley Park.

We’ll pedal off from Laishley Marina Pavilions on picturesque Charlotte Harbor, 100 Nesbit St., in “Historic” Punta Gorda, Florida on Saturday March 19. Choose from five exciting bicycle rides: Metric Century 62-Mile Tour, 30-Mile Tour, 15-Mile Tour 7-Mile Mystery Tour, 9 a.m., City Manager’s/History Tour, 2 p.m. For your safety, the 62, 30, and 15-mile rides will not be a mass start event. Special Bonus: All riders on the 62-mile, 30-mile, 15-mile, and Mystery Tour may also register for the City Manager’s/History Tour for no additional fee. Hosted by TEAM Punta Gorda and Isles Yacht Club. Benefitting Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and TEAM Punta Gorda’s bicycle-friendly community initiatives.
