Brief Description

This ride will support all those families affected by Breast Cancer. It is suitable for riders of all abilities and participants may ride as little as 5 miles or as far as 35 miles. Please arrive between 9 and 9:30 AM to allow plenty of time to check in, pick up your goodie bag and get your gear ready to roll. The ride will leave at 10 AM and the post-ride raffle will begin at 1 PM.

Location

SouthWest Bicycles is located in the Target Shopping Center on the South Side of Bell Road at 79th Ave. The shop is positioned just south of JoAnn's on the west side of the shopping area.

BICYCLE HELMET

A properly-fitted bicycle helmet is REQUIRED to be worn by all participants.

Arrival

Please plan on arriving between 9 AM and 9:30 AM. 1. Park in the front of the shop 2. Walk up to the front to check in (all participants must check in the day of event) 3. Take your goodie bag back to your vehicle 4. Get your gear 5. Walk your bike and gear through the shop exiting the rear 6. Visit with fellow riders and enjoy pre-ride snacks while preparing to honor and remember your loved ones affected by Breast Cancer.

SAFE BICYCLE

Please make sure your bicycle is safe and in properly working order. If you have any doubts, please bring it into our shop and we will provide you a free safety check and estimate of repairs if we find something that needs fixing. PLEASE ALLOW NORMAL TURN-AROUND TIMES. So, the sooner you bring it to us, the better!

Additional Information

A HELMET IS REQUIRED TO BE WORN PROPERLY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT. This ride is suitable for riders of all ages and abilities and is mostly within the City of Peoria's Rio Vista Trail system / mult-use path.
