Brief Description

Come join us and ride 'Miles for Music' in this 10th annual community fundraiser in the scenic Tahoe-Donner Lake area. Choose from a 30-mile fun, flat ride to Donner Lake; a more challenging 60 mile ride up Donner Summit (2500' elevation gain); or a 100 mile century including 6800' elevation gain. Fully supported rest stops, lunch stops, and sag wagons. Our middle and high school bands will perform during our after-ride dinner in Squaw Valley.

Fees

Single rider $55 (60 or 100 mile routes) Single rider $45 (30 mile route) Tandem $100 ($80 if stoker is under 14 years of age) Family $110 for two riders, $40 for each additional. Entry fee includes rest stops, lunch, after-ride dinner, water bottle and Tahoe Sierra Century ChicoBag (compact, reusable stuff bag). Late fee of $10 per rider applies day of event.

Start Times

Course opens at 7:00 a.m. Suggested start times are 7:00-8:00 for 100-milers; 8:00-10:00 for 60-milers; 10:00 on for 30-milers. See website for rest stop closing times.

Registration

Register on-line until 11:59 pm Thursday 9/20. We'll be open for check-in on Friday 9/21 from 4-8 p.m. $10 late fee applies day of event, registration opens at 6:30 a.m. Saturday 9/22. Look for signs, we're inside The Inn Shop at Plumpjack's (just to the right of the tram building at Squaw Valley USA).

Directions

I-80 exit at Hwy.89 South/Squaw Valley exit. Follow signs toward Tahoe City/Squaw Valley. Turn right into Squaw Valley Road at stoplight, 2 miles to Squaw Valley USA parking lot.

Cancellations/Refunds

Ride will be held rain or shine. Sorry, no refunds. All proceeds go to our local middle and high school music programs. Thank you for riding miles for music.

After-Ride Dinner & Music

Enjoy our after ride dinner served by Firesign Pasta & Pizza in the Village from 1:30 - 6:00. Non-rider dinners available for $10.00. Stay and hear our middle and high school jazz bands play a THANK YOU concert while you enjoy pasta, pizza, salads, and homemade brownies.
