Recently Interbay Rotary made the decision to support autism with the focus on Children. Autism is a widespread illness with 1 in 150 childern being diagnosed with this illness - outpacing cancer, diabetes and aids combined. And there is no cure. It costs our nation over 35 billion dollars every year and receives less than 5% - yes 5% of the research funding of many less prevalent childhood diseases; for example Leukemia, and muscular dystrophy.
We decided to create this annual Cycling Event in Tampa Bay to raise money for Autism.
