Brief Description

This ride offers a great day of cycling through the Mother Lode region of the Sierra foothills. Enjoy either the 85K or 50K with the assurance of experienced tech support at the start and sag support at lunch in addition to numerous energy-boosting rest and lunch stops. Celebrate your finish with a delightful BBQ, live music and a massage.

Ride Description

We have redesigned our routes to show off SW Calaveras County and included a TIME TRIAL with the 85K ride. We've changed the 50K route too. The routes aren't too easy though. Both will leave you hungry for that BBQ at the finish. Enjoy climbing and zippy downhills with fewer of the rough roads that were in the Sierra Century and our past rides. The 85K goes to New Melones Reservoir & a short, optional time trial with a nice winner prize. There's even a mile of rideable gravel on the way.

Directions

Take Hwy 4 east from Angels Camp for 8 miles. As you approach Murphys turn right on Pennsylvania Gulch Road. Pass Michelson School and take an immediate right into the parking lot at the Feeney Park sign. Park, and register at the table on the park side of the lot.

Registration

Registration for the ride will start at 8 am on the morning of the ride. The course will open at 8:30 am.

Additional Information

This event is hosted by Feeney Park Foundation. All proceeds benefit Feeney Park, a non-profit community sports and recreational facility in Murphys, complete with youth soccer and baseball fields, skatepark, walking trails, picnic areas, and an amphitheater.
