Brief Description

Join in supporting children and families affected by serious illness by participating in the annual Marshfield Cranberry Century Bike Tour held on Sunday, September 18, 2011.

All proceeds from this event will support programs at the Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield Wisconsin.

Additional Information

Choose from a 100 mile, a 64 mile, a 40 mile, or a 20 mile bike tour route.

Cost per rider is $25. Fee includes a T-shirt, lunch and refreshments, homemade chocolate chip cookies and cranberry coffeecake. Thanks to The Sports Den of Marshfield, participants will have access to well-marked biking routes and a sag wagon. Thanks to the Marshfield Amateur Radio Society, there will be individuals at rest-stops along all bike routes for additional support.

The Bike Tour is held in conjunction with the Marshfield Maple Fall Fest held on September 17 and 18 at Wildwood Park in Marshfield. Activities include over 150 arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, sunflower contests, maple demonstrations, pancake and maple sausage breakfast, and much more.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield is a not-for-profit organization that provides a temporary “home-away-from-home” for families whose children are undergoing medical treatment at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Children’s Hospital or Marshfield Clinic. In 2010, RMHC of Marshfield provided over 400 families a place where they can find lodging, strength, and stability when their child was ill for little or no cost.
