Brief Description

Due to overwhelming demand, the Tour of Long Beach has secured and opened additional spots for cyclists!

Raise funds on for Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach by riding your bike on a 31 mile Tour, 62 mile Metric Century or 4 Mile Family Fun Ride and experience all that Long Beach has to offer: Ocean views, inland bays and waterways, a bustling downtown waterfront, visitor attractions, scenic parks, plus dozens of eclectic neighborhoods, each with its own style and spirit.

All riders under 18 must have an adult rider with them.

Team Captains

A Captain must create a team first (just the team name) by clicking on the “Create your Team” button. They must then go back to registration, click on the “Register Now “ button, select their team from the drop down menu, and complete/pay for registration if they are participating as a member of their own team. Once the captain has created the team name and has registered, they must notify each member of their team to come into Active and register as apart of their team.

Team Members

Each member who is notified that their team has been created can then come into the main registration page, click the “Register Now” button. Select their team from the drop down menu and complete and pay for their registration.

Individuals

If an individual is not a part of a team and would simply like to register as an individual, they can simply click the "Register Now" button and choose "Individual Registration" category, complete and then pay for their registration.

Additional Information

The 31 mile Tour route and 4 mile Family Fun route have been carefully planned by Professional Cyclist, 2000 US Olympian and 6 year teammate of Lance Armstrong, Tony Cruz. Starting in Downtown Long Beach at the Marina Green, riders will experience all that Long Beach has to offer: Pacific Ocean views, inland bays and waterways, a bustling downtown waterfront, visitor attractions, scenic parks, plus dozens of eclectic neighborhoods, each with its own style and spirit. There will be an option to Tour Twice and ride 62 miles for a Metric Century Ride.

Justin Rudd's Family Fun Ride is a perfect morning ride for kids and families and youth groups of all ages. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and other organized groups can use the ride to complete requirements for cycling badges too!

All Tour of Long Beach and Justin Rudd! Family Fun Riders will receive a cool goody bag at bib pick-up. All Registration and Fundraising proceeds help patients and families at the Jonathan Jaques Children's Cancer Center at Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach as they fight children's cancers and blood-related disorders.

The 2010 Long Beach Bicycle Festival Click Here activities will be running all day in Downtown Long Beach (just blocks from the Tour finish line) on May 8. All Tour participants can enjoy the day after the ride and watch the pro races, enjoy the bike fashion show, bike polo tournament, have a drink at the beer garden, lunch at one of the downtown food courts or restaurants and much more Bike Festival activities after the ride!
