The Courses

The Deer Creek Canyon is the 1st permitted cycling event in the ever-popular Deer Creek Canyon.

The courses:
33 Mile - 4,200' vertical gain
62 Mile - 7,053' vertical gain
89 Mile - 10,500' vertical gain
100 Mile - 12,725' in vertical gain

All courses have limited capacity and will cap out.

100 Mile & 89 Mile Courses

The biggest challenge on the 100-mile course is the final climb up City View.

We're offering an 89-mile option this year which provides over 10,000' of vertical climbing and exposure to all the Deer creek Challenge has to offer, except City View a second time!

Remember - only people completing all 100 miles of the century course can earn the Century jersey.

Deer Creek Challenge Merchandise

2012 merchandise is available NOW!

The DCC is offering 2 Pactimo jerseys (1 Commemorative & 1 Century), 2 hats and a pair of socks.Rock your Deer Creek pride all year long!

You have to earn that Century jersey! You must complete the Century course and produce your stamped bib at the Jersey Tent to receive your jersey.

Some items will be for sale on ride day.

Start/Finish

The Deer Creek Challenge will start and finish in the same location as last year; with incredible views, plenty of grass and shady spots, as well as convenient parking.

Located at the scenic overlook at the Johns Manville facility on the corner of West Ute Avenue and West Toller Drive.

Start Times (will be enforced)

5:45am-7:00am: Century riders start

7:15am- 8:15am: 89-mile ride begins

8:30am-9:30am: Metric Century riders start

9:30am-10:00am: 33-mile ride begins

Teams

When 15+ team members from the same team register for the 2012 DCC, we will give the team a 10' x 15' team tent in the Expo area.

Enjoy pre-event staging, relax and connect with team members, promote your team during the post-event celebration ... and the best part, your team tent includes private BEER service – no lines and it’s free!

Include your team's name when prompted during the registration process. We will track your progress and get in touch as your team gets close.

Packet Pickup - Two Options

You make the call!

1. Early Packet Pickup ~ Select a location when you register.

2. Day of Event ~ Pickup your bib on Event Day starting at 5am at the Registration Tent.

Beneficiary - The Mountain Resource Center

The Mountain Resource Center (MRC) is located in Conifer, Colorado and serves the community in which the DCC's course is located. It provides the following services:
-Emergency assistance to prevent hunger & homelessness
-Children's health clinic
-Workforce services
-Parenting & early childhood programs
-Domestic violence counseling
-Food pantry

Positions include: course marshals, registration assistant, jersey distributors and more.
