Olympic Individual $65/Team $90. Fees increase by $10 after 8/1. Participants who are not USAT members must pay an additional $12 one-day fee to USAT.

Brief Description

31st Annual Lancaster Family YMCA Triathlon (Duathlon for 2013), USAT Sanctioned. Race will be a Duathlon format this year of 5k run, 40 k bike and 5k run. As our largest annual fundraising event, the Triathlon/Duathlon helps fund our Financial Scholarship Program. With Financial Scholarship, children, adults and families who are unable to afford the full cost of Y memberships or program fees can gain access to Y programs in Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

Additional Information

Prizes for the top three overall and top three in each age group, as well as prizes for top male individual, female individual, male team, female team, and co-ed team. Competition from beginners to professionals and capped at 600 participants. There will be no day of registrations for the Duathlon. Refund policy: after 8/1/13 there will be no refunds, credits, or deferrals for any reasons

Sanctioning

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
