Brief Description

This is a low-key race offering challenging competition for the experienced duathlete while providing an excellent opportunity for beginners to test their mettle on their first race. Proceeds support Cycle Wyoming and safe cycling in the state and communities. The Gem City Bone and Joint Laramie Duathlon is a family event. Youth 18 and under participate for free! Uncontrollable Conditions: The Laramie Duathlon is a 'rain or shine' event. No matter what the weather the event will go on. Temperatures in Wyoming by mid-June can be somewhat cool. Winds can be a factor on the bike ride but, if the wind direction follows the norm, it should be a headwind on the first half of the ride and a tailwind on the return trip. Laramie is at an elevation of 7,200 feet.
