Brief Description

The Minnesota Ironman® Bike Ride, organized by Hostelling International-Minnesota, is a one-day recreational bicycle ride always held on the last Sunday in April. With routes of 30, 65 or 100 miles there is a distance to meet your personal challenge. We annually attract over 5,000 riders of all ages and abilities: individuals new to riding, seasoned veterans, and families. Great routes, fabulous food and friendly volunteers have built our over-40-year reputation.

On-line Registration Fees

Note: Active.com charges a fee of 6.75% + $1.25 ($3.25 minimum) on the entire order for on-line registration (but see below for a discount).

On-line T-shirt Discount

Once again, to offset the Active.com credit-card fee, we are offering a $3 discount off a single long- or short-sleeve T-shirt if purchased at the same time as an on-line registration.

30, 65, and 100 miles.

Multiple registrations

Each person riding in the Ironman must fill out a separate registration form (either on-line or photocopied paper form). To put multiple registrations on a single credit card (after registering the first rider) click on "register another person" to add another.

Confirmation and Rider Number

It is our intention in 2010 to electronically send you your Confirmation Newsletter and Rider Number in April. This will confirm your Rider Number. You must have your Rider Number to check in.

Please provide a unique email address for each rider.

The Confirmation Newsletter includes: directions to Lakeville, parking areas, the starting location and other details. If you do not receive a confirmation by April 20, please call the HI-Minnesota office at 651-251-1495.

Start time

Riders check-in between 6:30 and 9:30 AM on day of ride. 100 mile riders are requested to leave by 8:30 AM.

Weather Cancellation

Never, never, never! Rain or shine, snow or hail, the Ironman is held regardless of weather.
