CASA's Ride Through Paradise Cycling Event is one of the Northwest's premier cycling events. Join other cyclists from around the State of Oregon for CASA's 7th Annual Ride that includes four courses for every level of cyclist. Your ride makes a difference! CASA’s Ride Includes:

• Four routes for every level of cyclist

• Well-marked courses

• Well-supported rest stops

• Sag wagon

• Gorgeous scenery along country roads

• Friendly people

• Post-Ride Entertainment.

Join other cyclists for a post-ride lunch and music by the Lost River Band.

Cycling Pledges. You are riding for a great cause. Thank you for collecting pledges that will ensure more foster children have an advocate. Sample pledge letters are listed below. Pledge Goal. $100. Tax deductible donations can be made payable to CASA for Children of Klamath County.

Two examples of how you can ask for support:

Option 1. Donate $20 yourself and have four friends donate $20 each; or Option 2. Ask 10 friends to donate $10 each.

Thank you for sending your pledge donation checks to CASA, 403 Pine Street, 3rd Floor, Klamath Falls, OR 97601, prior to the event, and for writing Active.com Cyclist by your name on the return address.

Sample Letter 1 – Personal Letter from You

Dear _______________ On July 24, I am riding _____ miles in CASA’s Annual Ride Through Paradise Cycling Event to raise money for foster children. I have promised to raise at least $100 in pledges for the Ride which will benefit CASA for Children of Klamath County, a non-profit program that trains Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers for foster children. Please donate as generously as you can by sending me your tax deductible donation, made payable to CASA for Children of Klamath County, in the enclosed self-addressed envelope. Your donation will help a child find permanency in a safe and permanent home. CASA children spend less time in foster care, receive more services, and have more success in school. I’m glad I can participate in this event and I appreciate your support. Please donate what you can by DATE – 10 DAYS FROM LETTER. Every dollar counts for foster children. Sincerely,

Sample Letter 2 – Canine Fundraising Letter

HE/SHE is riding _____ miles in CASA’s Annual Ride Through Paradise Cycling Event to raise money for foster children. You can make a donation to sponsor my MDUA’s ride that will help foster children find a safe, permanent home. Just write a check to CASA for Children of Klamath County and send it in the enclosed envelope. That’s all you have to do. Thanks for caring about kids. My MDUA told me your donation is going to be tax deductible. I’m not sure what that means, but I think it’s a good thing and it will help kids.
