The 4th Annual Biscayne/Everglades Greenway Bike Festival celebrating the Greenway Trail connecting Biscayne National Park with Everglades National Park. Saturday, February 25 is a fully supported series of 25, 41 or 62 (Metric Century) Rides departing downtown Homestead's historic district at 7:30 a.m. and traveling through the beautiful Redland farmland, returning to the downtown historic district. The fee of $40.00 is for Saturday's supported ride. A luncheon will be served at the conclusion of the ride and is included in the fee. Sunday, February 26, 2012 is a guided Greenway Trail tour. This is a fat tire ride as many parts of the trail are still unfinished. There is no fee for the Sunday tour. The tour begins on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., departing Everglades National Park Visitor's Center.

THE BISCAYNE/EVERGLADES GREENWAY BIKE FESTIVAL WILL DEPART THE HOMESTEAD DOWNTOWN HISTORIC DISTRICT AT 7:30 A.M ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25. ALL THREE RIDES WILL DEPART AT THE SAME TIME, RETURNING TO THE HISTORIC DISTRICT. LUNCH IN LOSNER PARK WILL FOLLOW THE RIDES. SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26 WILL BE THE TOUR OF THE GREENWAY TRAIL DEPARTING EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK VISITOR'S CENTER AT 9:00 A.M.
