Brief Description

Come join us for our 39th Annual Seacoast Century! You can ride either or both days, no need to select just one day – and have it rain! Only $35 ($45 after July 31) plus the Active.com $3.61 fee on the $35 rate. Do not opt for the $10 "Advantage savings" unless you use Active.com regularly. All support services will be available to you both days. Registrations must be made on-line by August 31. Walk-in and mail-in registrations are not to be accepted.

About the event

The GSW Seacoast Century route is primarily along the Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine coastlines. For 2012 our route must be changed due to a key bridge being out of service. The full Century is to be completed in ten consecutive hours or less. Also offered will be metric, half, and quarter centuries. All rides start and stop at Headquarters each day. Event runs rain or shine -- no rain dates, no refunds! Active.com fee not included in registration.

Refunds

No refunds except for data entry errors.

Additional Information

The annual GSW Seacoast Century is always the largest event of the year for the club. The event is limited to 1,600 riders.

With a flat to rolling scenic route along the coastlines of New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts and all the support services provided for such events, the Seacoast Century has received several national awards. Many riders come back year after year making this event part of their annual vacation plans.

The Seacoast Century is unique in several ways thus making it a very enjoyable experience, not a race against the clock or other riders. Traveling through areas seldom seen by general tourists makes this event quite special. Please join the GSW for a memorable Century Tour!

All riders must follow all rules of the road, ride single file in traffic, not block the roadways, and walk across bridges if so directed. Rider numbers and helmets must be worn at all times. Riders will be monitored by the local police departments to help ensure safe riding practices are followed. Please help us to make this a safe and enjoyable experience for all. If you are planning to ride like you are in a race or own the road, this event is not for you! This is a ride, not a race! All registrations to be made on-line -- no mail-ins or walk-ins.
